So What Is Chemical Engineering ?!

Chemical engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with chemical production and the manufacture of products through chemical processes (Lucas). Which includes designing equipment, systems, and processing. Moreover, they refine raw materials and process them to make valuable products. Chemical Engineering incorporates Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Which are considered hard subjects to take, especially when you start the higher-level courses.

Chemical Engineers apply their skills in science, mathematics, environmental management and economics to make production processes to more efficient (What Chemical Engineers Do). Furthermore, they work in many different industries including oil companies, nuclear science and technology, and as consultants engineers.

Some of the skills that are required for chemical engineers are problem solving skills, ability to approach problems using logic and reasoning, ability to analyze how things work, and accuracy, with an eye for details. There are more important skills that are required for a chemical engineering major, since they will be using them in their daily life.
